A wheat free, gentle soluble fibre which I often describe as the 'Rolls Royce' of fibres because it is so gentle and suitable for all types of digestive systems. It cleanses your digestive system a bit like a 'chamois leather' rather than the 'brillo pad' effect you get from some fibres.
Adults: 2 heaped teaspoons (10g) twice daily. Mix with water or fruit juice and consume immediately. Follow through with a further cup of water or juice. Children/Young Adults: 1 heaped teaspoon (5g) twice daily. Mix with water or fruit juice and consume immediately. Follow through with a further cup of water or juice. Psyllium husks swell when mixed with water for this reason parents should seek advice from a practitioner before giving to children under 11. Can also be added to meal replacements or shakes.
